    Default I wrote a simple Web Based Application insertion Program using Hibernate..Plz Hlp

    But i got stuck with an error

    HTTP Status 500 -

    What is in your Eclipse project is absolutely not interesting. What is important to check is what is actually deployed to Tomcat. Are all the necessary libraries actually there? That class should be in the hibernate-core jar, so if it can't be found at runtime, something went wrong during the deployment of the application. Simple reasoning.

    Also, are you really sure you want to be using a beta version of Hibernate? I would stick to 4.2.7.SP1 for now if I were you.
