personal question for Eranga
You don't have to answer this. On the Internet, no one knows if you are a dog.
Is that a photo of you as your avatar? Or just some great looking model that you like? For all I know, you could be a typical geek, i.e. a guy.
BTW, my avatar is not a photo of me. its my grandfather.
Thanks
Pat

Well, I really am a Captain.. or former, you might say. :)
Speaking for Eranga - that's Jessica Alba in his avatar.Last edited by CaptainMorgan; 06-29-2008 at 05:08 AM.

Yes fishtoprecords, as Captain says that is a photo of Jessica Alba, one of an actress I like to see in movies. :) I just use it, nothing special.
And I know that lots of members in our community confused because that photo, that they think it's my real photo. :) Think that I'm a gal. ;)

Well, she is beautiful.
Too much to ask that a geek be a beautiful woman, but Veronica Belmont, of Tekzilla comes close. Not movie star beautiful, but cute, smart, funny, etc.

Erenga, the mystery man.
Hello Erenga
I also have a few questions:
- Why do you reply in green?
- What does Erenga mean, or is it a name?
I understand your avatar now. ;)
I don't agree with the usage of that term. I think that if someone is talented in something but they do not fit in well, then he or she should not be the one suffering for it.

Is it me, or does Nick not make a whole lot of sense... ? And what is the point of this picture?
Maybe I'm the one off in space... but thankfully this is in the nosebleed section of the forums; otherwise I would get a little suspicious.

deleted the post
Deleted the post, it is not hard for me to sort it out but if it is this hard I just deleted the post.
Pleasant to look at, discussion had ranged to Eranga's avatar. And what is the point of this picture?
You're not off in space, I am. In fact the pic is pulled from some text that really would blow everyone's mind. I softened it for posting.Maybe I'm the one off in space... but thankfully this is in the nosebleed section of the forums; otherwise I would get a little suspicious.

Is the man on the photo is you?

Hi friends,
Actually green is the color I like most, dark green. It's really nice though. :)
'Eranga' that's my first name. Unfortunately it doesn't have a direct meaning. But some people says, it says that 'Directing to future' I don't is that correct no

Hi Eku,
This is not my blog. I don't have a blog at the time, and still working on my own website in near future.
This is someone else blog, who has the same name as me. It's typical here in Sri Lanka. You know, in my school in same class three of have same first name as 'Eranga', including me. ;)

Sanjeev, why did you think that is necessary. In a profile there should have hide/unhide option if we added Gender field. So still it's possible to hide the gender.
- 06-30-2008, 06:57 AM #17
So dear.... it should not be hidden.....it should be visible in public profile.l

Do u ppl think its really necessary to make the gender visible?
I dont feel so.Its indivisual interest, guys may not mind but few girls do sometimes i count myself in that too..
We are here to help others and get help when required, in that case it really doesnt matter isnt it?To finish sooner, take your own time....

I agree with Niveditha. Gender is not important. Thank you, Eranga, for lifting the fog. I've been wondering about your green replies for a year now. I thought you had green fingers! ;)
