medyo kelangan mo lang na pag aralan mag set up ng sun server. suggestion ko mag Sun App Server ka na lng kesa Glashfish. mas madaling gamitin eh pero halos pareho lng sila. na Nose Bleed na ako sa pag eenglish

Bro,

Sorry for late reply,
This semester makes me feel challenging bro,
hhaaaiiihh... i don't have any minute to just visit my
Favorite Forum.....

By the way,

Im using tomcat server, did you also tried using that one?
That was on the J2EE tutorial's recommended Web
Application Server....

Bro, i have a text file that contains a list of all countries around the world, im attempting to create a jarred javabean that will access that textfile, then extract its content, arrange using Collections Framework, then send for some use....
The problem is, i don't know where to put the text file inside the web application container....

Have you experienced that one? could you teach me on that bro?

To be honest i dont have any idea in using java bean. The thing is Im using a servlet and Jsp. JSP is the HTML part and the Servlet is java part. Its like the JSP is the GUI and the process is in the Servlet.

Im sorry i havent tried using tomcat as a server. I had only used the sun app server and the glash fish.

If i'll try to do this in JSP - Servlet. I'll just have a textfield and a button that will call a servlet and its action. Then in the JSP it will have either a session or request to send the URL of the file or you can use the File upload to the server. Then the servlet shall process this file, like the you process it in J2SE then you can have the option to return that output in another JSP from the server. you can use a session or request for this. I hope that gives you a idea. Actually this style of web programming is implemented in a Large Telecom company, i've seen it when one of my colleges ask me to debug her part.
