    Default Referencing a dictionary

I am doing a project that requires me to reference a dictionary. Is it possible to reference one without acquiring permission from the source or do I have to license it or what? Basically lets say someone types in the word "trust" on my website, and wants the definition. How should I go about giving that to him?

    Default Re: Referencing a dictionary

You ask that like there is only one rule that applies to all online dictionaries and like it has anything to do with Java programming.

Check the documentation or contact the creator of whatever online dictionary you can find and want to use. That's just common sense.
