    Question Default How to run java software from browser

    hi friends. i m a mechanical engg 3rd year student and is noob in programming but want to learn it.
    i want to know that how to use an java software from the browser like a webpage is used. when i run the java software it provides the download option for that.
    please keep in mind that i have no knowledge about java. if possible then please provide me the complete solution
