Programming noob
I am taking a course starting middle of January. I asked the professor if i needed to progrsm snd he said yes....It requires me to program in java or C#. I took classes in these over six years ago but I am extremely rusty and not sure where to start. It is a graduate course, Foundations of a software Engineering. Apparently not every class requires programming but this one does....
My question is, where do I start to relearn the Java? What tools have been most helpful to you? What types of software , for example... free compilers do I need to download in order to write a program and run it to be able to see what it does? Do I need other things other than a compiler?
Any help would be appreciated. I never thought I'd have to program again but seeing as how the Software Engineering masters degree is under Computer Science, it makes sense , poohey lol
