A problem with .jar files
Hey guys. I have a problem with .jar files that are for downloading some kind of caches to my computer (mainly - gaming clients). Normally, when I download full-files through any browser - it completes without any problems, but when using .jar file for some kind of client aka cache, it starts doing nothing (no sense, haha). After opening the file, it downloads like.. 0-5% and stops (freezes, to be exact). I didn't have such a problem on XP, but on win7 it seems to happen all the time. I have downloaded most of the updates from the microsoft and oracle (java versions). Tried re-installing them either.
Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Re: A problem with Java?
Moved from Java Software. Considering the other threads in that section, what made you think that was the correct section to post this?
Please go through the Forum Rules -- particularly the third paragraph.

Re: A problem with Java?
"and Java install problems" - this made me think that was the correct section since I think it has to be something with Java installation. By the way, thanks for the pointless bump.
Still looking forward for answer.
