Please help me im in some troube :(

Well sorry i had no one else to ask its driving me nuts !

What it is , i got to a chat room it has java logo loading no problem i enter the room and within under a minute im booted ,.,..

Now i have spoken to the web site they said run the last version of java . i have now jre7

i dont no what they mean??,.,

Also this must be related i have a yahoo pool stand alone game (java) and same issues is happening

What i have done is unistalled java re-installed cleared regsitry before installing new one again .
cleaerd cookies - cleared %appdata%
cleared %temp% folder..
tried diffent browsers even tho one is a stand alone application ,.

so now i do beleive it must be some previous version of java i need as these applications must be having issues..

Please i have gone to java web site to try and find a old version but i keep getting some other download ..
some jdk pack...

can some one link me to correct download from the previous version i have - jre7
which is the current download from java.....

any help please thanks mandy

Ok i have gone to this site before making this thread and i find this version here -
jdk-6u29-windows-i586.exe
But it does not look rite ..

i then uninstall my original java first then install this one
jdk-6u29-windows-i586.exe
but then java apps dont work

ok here in this picture i have installed the above as you can see now
my java .jar item has returned back into winrar ..using above
install.

I am currently using java jr7
can anyone send me A (direct) link to the previous version
i cant find it and i looked on java web site ..

they only have the jdk packs
which is java development kits

im trying to find jr6
6 update 29

A JDK comes with a JRE, so you can safely install a JDK and remove the jdk directory afterwards (but don't touch the jre directory next to it).

they only have the jdk packs

Is your computer scrolling-impaired? I see about 30 or more links for JRE6 updates alone, each one linking to about 12 to 15 binaries for download, further down on the same page.
