relation between J2EE and J2ME

please tell me is there any relation between j2ME and j2ee??

i wanted to know can we do j2me without doing j2ee without having any problem?

Of course you can't use jee in mobile device.

i mean to say that if i skip the learning of j2ee and start learning j2me directly,will there be any problem????

Not you will not have any problems if you don't know about JEE and start learn JME directly. But I think that is dead branch in Java, if you want to develop for mobile device I should see on android.
