Where to advertise?

I have posted a news about our Java/NetBeans platform for AI prototyping in games in Java and Games forum and I was banned. So my question is where to put this kind of advertisement - to Java Announcements forum or to Reviews / Advertising ?

BTW: I have meant no harm. When I've found this forum I thought it could be beneficial for this community to know there exists our software (we've been developing it for 5 years now and its free and open source and still just only small part of the community even know it exists).

Sorry for not reading the FAQ or forum rules, but you could only pm me or move the topic - really warm welcome from Java community for me. :-)
