Am I being too suspicious?
these past few weeks I noticed that a lot of new members' name starts with
consecutive letter (about 3 to 4, i think) followed by consecutive numbers.
Not only in this forum but to the other forums as well, these members do nothing (as in nothing).
Am I being too suspicious? Coz I'm thinking that they are bots.

They are bots, and most of them have already been banned, but a few slip through and then get banned.

All the 'lmno3456' accounts I saw appeared mostly during the weekend and posted spam for shoes, polo shirts and similar crap (including pictures). I reported a lot of them and Eranga banned them shortly afterwards. Those bots are so stupid; maybe a small account name filter may help.

So long as it doesn't filter out the OP of this thread ;)maybe a small account name filter may help.
