Welcome to our new forum: Forum Lobby
So here is our new forum: Forum Lobby. 
This forum is for all other topics that are not targeted in other forums. Some topics that you might want to discuss and come to my mind are listed below:
- Digital photography
- Politics
- Sports
- Health
- Science
- Technology
- Funny things and jokes
- Any news and your opinions about it
- ...
The list can go like this. So as far as you don't post spam or illegal content, this forum welcomes opinions about any topic in life. I believe this forum will fill an important gap and will help us know each of us and share information better.

Hmm, i think there is no need to create a separate forum for this at this stage since i dont believe there will be enough support for that FAQ forum from community members. For now, it is enough to have one forum (this forum) for non-java related topics. Once we have an explicit need for opening new non-java forums, we can add them as sub-forums to this forum.
But you can start a thread here, post your FAQs on that thread and wait others to contribute. If we get enough high quality contributions and requests, why don't we open a new sub-forum for that purpose here.

I like to make one suggestion. On the JavaForums post there are number of topics. I would like to group them in two categories.
"Funny things and jokes" is on one forum and all the other on one forum. Because from the second category, we can learn a lot, even no any technical relation with Java.
We can use "Funny things and jokes" just for relaxing when we deal with forum. We can introduced as FunBox Forum or Chit-Chat Forum or anything like that.
What are your guys comments on it.

I thought subforums when i created this forum. But again the reason is the size and activity of the community. It looks like we need time to have users to post in the subcategory. But i would like to create "Funny things and jokes" (or some name like this) sub-forum while keeping this parent forum. If you can participate on that forum, i will too and we can be the driving force for the forum initially with a hope to have others participate by time But if you can not post more than a few initial posts, i guess it is better to wait the community grow before opening a no-activity forum. |

Actually I can give my support for this. I really like to interact with this community, because I really loved Java. So, it is up to you pal. As you said, still our community is growing up, need more people to be here.
Lets do our best, I'll try to give my best know for the users here. Really like to give away what I have learn.

Actually I can give my support for this. I really like to interact with this community, because I really loved Java.
Excellent. I love Java too.
Then i am creating the "Jokes and Funny Things" sub-forum in a few minutes. I am assigning you the moderator of the "Forum Lobby" forums so that you can control the spam on these forums if you want and have more power on the progress of the community..
You can PM me whenever you need or want to discuss something related to java-forums.
By the way, the girl in your avatar look very pretty Something nice to see in a programming forum. |

I guess we mean different things with pretty. Pretty is not a lower level of beauty in my interpretation. For example, a girl might be beautiful but not pretty. But if she is pretty, she is beautiful too for me. |

Ok, I like to do it. I check it and back to you when I have any issues. You know also I like to moderate any technical forum. I know there is any technical forums right now. But we'll see later

Judging by the post dates I've reviewed in this past month, I gather this site isn't more than two years old.. no? With a name such as Java-Forums I would've expected more in terms of population. I will be doing what I can to help promote this site.

Can i post threads like "The Funny Pictures Thread" or forum game threads? Beacause it's not fully funny if the topic is still realated to codes etc. I mean, we have to rest our minds from codes sometimes =P
