Jessica Alba, the reporter?

So last night at the star-studded Declare Yourself event, we caught quite the moment with Jessica Alba, who does look every bit as good as they say and had the men walking in puddles.

A couple of reporters spot Alba and, hubby Cash Warren, waiting for a cab in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel. So we pounced. Other reporter, Nicholas Ballasy, of CNS News, asks Alba what she thinks Obama will change in his presidency.

Alba isn't really answering but--hold on!--out comes a flip camera and Alba starts asking Ballasy the questions.

"What do you think Barack's greatest characteristic is going into office?" She asks in the sweetest of ways.

Ballasy, in shock that Alba is a) asking the questions and b) giving him the time of day and c) being taped by one of the hottest women around, finds the strength to find words and say, "Well I'm a journalist," and points out that he must remain neutral.

(Shenan also weighs in and defends her fellow reporter.)

"You can't answer about our president?!" Alba says, still taping. "Be neutral! Be Sweden about it!" (Ummm, we think she meant Switzerland, but she's hot so who cares?)

"Why can't you just be neutral?!" Alba says again, a little agitated.

Finally, after telling Alba that Obama has a good personality or something, Ballasy finally regains control of the interview, asking Alba if she blames Bush for the economy.

"I definitely don't think it's one person's fault," she says, apparently being "neutral."

"I think the stimulus package is going to benefit people in the long run," she said, before being dragged away by Cash.
