Lol i hate english, although according to my english teacher "No, i dont have a brain" would be the correct way of saying that i Do in fact have a brain: Double negative makes a positive (no and don't are negatives) meaning that No, i don't have brain is the same as saying, Yes, i do have a brain.
Again.. i dont trust english too much though ;)

I pity you if you're English teacher said that's correct, as in that case - s/he's incorrect. It's not mathematics in which case the rule is always true. :) In language, sometimes it can be true, and sometimes a double negative != positive. "No, I don't have a brain." is an answer with heavy emphasis on the second part of the sentence - "No" followed by for example, "you're correct, I don't have a brain.".Quote:
