my program already accepts the date value in a string-i verified this when i tried to display it in console.
i used valueOf(string) and with the correct format.
the other data was inserted into the database correctly except for the date.
the date should be the value of the string but when i checked the database the date is "30.12.1899"
i'd like to know why..
