    Hello snowpoke,
You said you need to create to a site using jsp, servlet, EJB 3.0, right? and you want some book to read on. but tell me one thing, do you want a book to get the concepts? or a book that teaches you to create a site using these technologies??
Let me tell you that there's really no book that can teach you to create a site. but for getting the concepts clear you can use Servlets and JavaServer Pages by Falkner, Jones and EJB 3.0 in Action from Manning Publications.
Good luck friend, go, get indulge.

I think it's a bad idea, because is used Java for create a site is foolish.
and you mention about EJB. It's very difficult technology and in many projects it don't need.
First I advice you figure out what you want make. Maybe you just want to learn these technology or maybe you want to create some site. It's very important!

I agree with you Petr, and that was what i said, that there's no such book that can teach one how to create a site.
And yes, EJB is a tough one, and needs a fair amount of time as well as determination to get through it.
Sorry, for i couldn't make my term clear enough.

The Java EE tutorial contains information about how to use all those technologies and more.

I liked JavaServerPages of O'Reilly, Hans Bergsten ( JavaServer Pages, Third Edition - O'Reilly Media ). I must admit that was almost ten years ago, a dutch version, this is a new edition.
Also check "new" developements (like Spring) before diving into EJB's.
