Suggested to be learned before Java course

Hi, I'll be learning Java in the next programming course of next term.
And I want to know what should I know before taking that course.
So far, I only know HTML and a bit of JavaScript.

If you know JavaScript fairly well, and understand the object oriented or "based" concepts of JS, Java shouldn't be too hard. But there are a few different constructs. And all variables are type cast, so when you make a variable, you make it an integer or a double or a character, and you can't flip back and forth as easily as you do in JS.

If you know the C++ also helpfull. If you know the HTML, Javascript then super you can do well in developing dynamic content using Servlets and JSP applications
