    Question How to enable save as option in menu after the application has been launched

    Hi I am writing an application in which I want to disable save and enable only after a specific task done by user.I tried to do it by deriving my application using JMenuItem and ovverriding respective methods bt it didn't work well...

    Plz suggest som other way........:):confused::)

    I dont think you need to override any method for this, setEnabled(true/false) of JMenuItem should solve your problem.
