    Here are two batch files I've used to sign a jar file;
    @REM Create a keystore for testing AppletReader
    keytool -genkey -alias signApplet -keypass SampleKey -keystore SampleKS -storepass SampleStore
    MORE
    @REM Sign AppletReader.jar to new jar file
    @echo keytool -genkey -alias signApplet -keypass SampleKey -keystore SampleKS -storepass SampleStore
    jarsigner -keystore SampleKS -signedjar sAppletReader.jar AppletReader.jar signApplet
    MORE
    And here is the result:
    Applet Reader
