How do I import foreign packages to eclipse?
lets say I want to use something like org.joda.time.*
looks like a reverse domain, can eclipse use this to discern its location online then automatically download and apply it to the class path (that would be convenient!), or must I download a file and then manually add it to the class path and if so how would I do that?
Re: How do I import foreign packages to eclipse?
You first need to get the jar file and download it to your computer, you then need to tell Eclipse to include this external Jar file in its build path (right click on the current project and wend through the menus to find this), and only then can you import the classes that you want to use.
