Default How to turn off auto correct function in eclipse

I'm new to java and have been trying to learn following the new bostons tutorials. One thing though is that as I type eclipse auto corrects or suggests methods in these huge windows that prevent me from seeing what I'm typing and bucky is as well. Also when I type things such as "case" in a switch statement it moves it where it wants it to go. Someone please help me turn this terrible function off. Thank you

P.s if I find the answer I'll post it here for future google searchers

Consider turning off Content Assist Auto Activation. You can do this via the following menu cascade:

    Window
    Preferences
    Java
    Content Assist

Then uncheck the "Enable auto activation" checkbox.

For what it's worth, I couldn't live without this "terrible function", but whatever floats your boat... :)
