Default Problem with Eclipse. Code appearing as weird encrypted symbols

I'm using eclipse and when i opened the project today, it was replaceed by weird encrypted symbols. Has anyone else had this problem. Please tell me how to fix it because it had some 700 lines of code in it and I really need it back.

    Thanks.

What if you look at the java files with any other text editor? And are you looking at the java or the class files?

Right click on the project and select the "Restore from Local history ..." option and make Eclipse fix the mess. Don't touch or change any files before you make Eclipse restore the stuff.

    kind regards,

    Jos

You're welcome of course, but don't thank me, thank Eclipse for that; its internal svn repository can be a real life saver. Don't rely to heavily on it because Eclipse flushes that repository now and then (I don't know when exactly) and you lose some of your stuff in the repository ...

    kind regards,

    Jos
