You can disable the Auto-Activation feature here:
Window -> Preferences -> java -> Editor -> Content Assist -> disable the checkbox "Enable auto activation"
Or edit your eclipse.ini and change the memory settings! (FAQ How do I increase the heap size available to Eclipse? - Eclipsepedia)
