Default How to disable this content assist?

Whenever the possible methods come up, my eclipse crashes and it makes it really hard for me to program. I'm new to Eclipse and I can't find the option to disable this, can someone tell me where it is?

You can disable the Auto-Activation feature here:
Window -> Preferences -> java -> Editor -> Content Assist -> disable the checkbox "Enable auto activation"

Or edit your eclipse.ini and change the memory settings! (FAQ How do I increase the heap size available to Eclipse? - Eclipsepedia)
