    Default com.mysql.jdbc.Driver

    Hi All,

I'm new to eclipse IDE. i'm developing a web app using Eclipse, jBoss and mysql.
when i tried to connect to the MySql Db I'm getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException . i am not sure if i put the connector jar file to the correct path. I added the connector jar file to the to the WEB-INF/lib. i tried to run the application putting the jar file the lib forlder of jBoss installation directory too. But none of them work properly. But when i use tomcat server it's working. In Tomcat i put the jar file to the lib forlder of Tomcat directory.

Please guide me to resolve this. Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Uthpala

    Default

I am new too but i'll give a try....
Try to put the connector to the WEB-INF/lib directory.
Make refresh so you can see the jar file from eclipse workspace and then right click to the connector->buld path->Add to build path.
I had the same problem and that was the solution for me.
