I was using Eclipse for JAVA development and everything was working fine. I have now migrated to C++ development using Eclipse. I installed the CDT plugin and MinGW to get started. I changes the workspace from my default Java to C++ applications separately.
However I am not able to compile/run C++ simple program like Hello World.
It gives me the warning:
Launch Failed No Binaries or
The selection cannot be launched as there are no recent launches.
Please help me to get around this issue. I think I have installed all the necessary stuff. I have also set the correct path for minGW in environment variables.
When ever I start eclipse. I get the error dialog:
Multiple Errors Have occurred.
I am attaching a screen shot of the same and
I think it has got something to do with this issue.
This seems to be a Java forums site and you are asking about C++. Better post that in some C++ forum somewhere.
I think this issue is related with Eclipse IDE, not JAVA or C++
You are right: this technically is an Eclipse forum and not a Java forum per se, and I hope that you'll run into someone with the technical expertice to be able to answer your question, but since the major thrust of all of these forums is Java, your odds are low. If you don't get a satisfactory answer soon, you may wish to ask this over at the official Eclipse sites.
Not quite. It's about how to create and run C++ programs on eclipse.

How to develop in C++ on eclipse should of course be well documented somewhere. They didn't just give you plugins without telling you how to use them did they?
