Applets are supposed to be run in a web browser. You shouldn't have made the programs into applets in the first place. Convert your applets into a normal Java application and create a .jar file for your application with an appropriate manifest file.

Can you go into more detail? What do I have to add or change to It to become an application instead of an applet?
And I've tried jar but it's never executable. I unzipped the jar i made to see what's in it and it's just the manifest, .class and .java files, does it need more?

For starters you need a main method and JFrames instead of JFrames.
Are you knew to making GUIs using swing?

You're going to have to study the tutorials, pure and simple, and start making simple stand-alone apps first before trying to translate the applets over. Then if you want to create a stand-alone GUI, you should gear your app to create a JPanel (are your previous apps Applets or JApplets?). With a JPanel-based application you can more easily create applets or stand-alone gui apps with the same code.
