    Default executable jar with images

    Hello I have icons in /images. When I generate an executable jar package in Eclipse, this package doesn't contain icons. Is in Eclipse some feature to help me? On the other side may be with command line. Can You help me? Thanks a lot. tascoa

    When you create your jar file in Eclipse, the wizard gives you the ability to include your images or other resources if desired.

    The menus I click for this are:
    Export --> Java --> Jar file --> Next -->
    then in the Jar File Specification dialog, choose all the resources needed including the class files and the image files. If done correctly, the images should be included in the Jar file.

    Note: this was tested using Eclipse version 3.2.1

    When I used Your manual, the JAR file isn't executable...

    My "manual" is just a guide to lead you to the portion of the wizard where resources are added and was never meant to be an all-inclusive tutorial on creating jar files with eclipse.

    There's more to the wizard than this, and surely you can read the eclipse help files to find out how to better use this tool, either that or come back here with a more detailed and answerable question.
