Eclipse and Tomcat
I'm using Eclipse Ganymede and Tomcat 5.5
I'm looking for a best practices approach for deploying multiple websites.
At work we use a project called 'core' which houses our reusable code/classes etc.. and a project for each website. We then add a reference to the core project to each of our websites.
I understand that I could also use a jar file for the core and then add a reference to the jar file for each of my websites. It is my understanding that if I make a change in the core, I'd have to export the core.jar file each time.
What do you guys do?
I have a core war file and a project war file. The project war file references the core. When I do a RUN-AS, I get the following error message: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP:
Any ideas? Your help is really appreciated.
I'm new to Java Forum,
Hello to every one contributing through this Forum
check the jsp files path and then check in web.xml
I think ant is able to publish several projects at once. Though I don't know if it can be used to pack-up your project into a war file I still can imagine it is also able to do that as well
