What type of developments you are going to take. If you are a beginner for Java, that means you have to deal with J2SE(Java basis). Read carefully what explained about those downloads in the Eclipse site. I'm not a Eclipse user, but I hope Eclipse classic or Eclipse IDE for Java developers are the solutions for you.
