Exclamation Cannot start j2me polish in netbeans

hi, i just installed j2me polish, and enabled netbeans integration. yes, it was sucessfully installed, as netbeans said...... but then, i wanted to check out this new addon, so, i clicked "new project", and then "j2me polish". then, after i click next and next, the "select target devices" screen comes and says "unable to read selected devices- check your j2me polish installation."
    how do i fix this?
im using j2me polish 2.0 and netbeans 6.1 and the wtk 2.0 that comes together with sony ericsson emulator.

a solution, or rather an alternative for me and those who cant make j2me polish work:

use LWUIT, it has more GUI features than polish. except making the final jar file super big, and throwing occational OutOfMemoryExceptions, the toolkit is really great, supporting gif animations, to 3d form transition animation, to combo boxed and lists

Default Issue - done more investigation.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I'm inclined to using J2ME Polish though.

It seems to be the Halloween version, something is wrong with the build. (j2mepolish-2.0.5.jar)

I've reverted to j2mepolish-2.0.jar at home (after failing to get 2.0.5 working - same results as above) and it worked fine. Thus I will shave off a minor version form 2.0.5 until I get the latest working one, hopefully 2.0.4 is cool as its 50mb a pop.

    Default Oops

Err, I cant post links as I have a post count of 2.

Google "j2mepolish-2.0.jar" and you'll find the location.

Default in trouble by polish n netbeans :(

    Dear all,

I'm new in the J2ME field, but worked in J2SE for a long time. I hard that Polish is really helpful for creating attractive GUI for J2ME which is hard with default lcdui package. However i have failed to integrate Netbeans 6.1 and 6.5 with polish 2.0.7. It would be really helpful if you can tell me which version worked fine for you?

    NetBeans: ??
    JDK: ??
    Wirelss toolkit: ??
    Polish: ??

Please help me out, i'm starting my own software business after 4 years of job in telecom sector of Bangladesh. Now looking forward to establish my small company "Innovate360" in local market in J2ME field.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Sahrear
