What is JSP Actions?

Certain built in kind of functionalities are provided by the servlet container so that the application development could be eased. These functions are used by the programmers in JSP applications. Programmers are abled by the JSP action tags to utilized such functions. XML tags could be used in pages of JSP.
Here is the list of JSP Actions:

jsp:include
The jsp:include where action work to be like a subroutine. Requests as well as responses are temporarily passed by the Java servlet to the specific servlet. Then control is given back to the JSP page used currently.

jsp:param
The jsp:param Action would be adding the specified parameters into the request. It is used in jsp. It includes jsp :params block or jsp:forward.

jsp:forward
The jsp:forward Would be handing off the requests and also the response to some other servlet or JSP. Request doesn’t return back in this case towards the calling JSP page.

jsp:fallback
The jsp:fallback tag specifies the message so that it could be displayed at browser if browser doesn’t support applet.

jsp:getProperty
The jsp:getPropertyB gets specified property, from the JavaBean object.

jsp:setProperty
The jsp:setProperty tag sets the property inside the JavaBean object.

jsp:useBean
The jsp:useBean tag instantiate objects of Java Bean or re-uses the already existing java bean objects.
