    Default JSlider special selection

I am working on a class QSlider which derives from JSlider. The idea is that this slider will be used on touch screen. I want the slider pointer or cursor to be selected when mouse is moved from the slider. I`ve added MouseMotionListener in which mouseMoved sets slider`s value to event`s X but I need to simulate mouse press on the slider`s point so when the user finger removes I will know there is mouse release. I`ve tried to fire mouse press from mouseMoved method but it does not "blues" or presses the slider pointer. Any good advices?

Another question: what mouse event is fired by pressing a touch screen with Swing app on it? mousePressed or clicked?
