    Default the jframe is ignoring the size that i set

    hello !
    i my project i have a jframe containing many jTabbedpane and corresponding jpanel in each panel there is
    a jTextpane.at the buttom of mu jframei have a big empty space when i try to resize it to reduce that gap it ignore ,what
    can i do?

    Make sure you add the tabbed pane to the "CENTER" of the BorderLayout of the JFrame. Then the tabbed pane will automatically resize with the frame. If you need more help then post a Short, Self Contained, Correct Example that demonstrates the problem.
