Good idea, and you're welcome. I wasn't sure how much of a cross section of the data needed to be on screen at once. But I needed a break from trying to figure out Android (started on Saturday).

You could also use a single list with multiselect and a RadioButtonListCellRenderer (you can use a JCheckBox instead of a JRadioButton; they're identical under the skin).

And if you want a simple (and certainly more intuitive for check box or radio button) click to select/deselect, you can use a MultiListSelectionModel.

PS There's a misnomer in the code I posted, alsoSubscribedStationList is actually allSubscribedStationList. That's easily rectified, though.

I thought it just might be important for someone about to unsubscribe to be able to see that the action wasn't about to leave an alarm abandoned. If that's not the case, there's no need for that list at all.

Looks who's talking; I had to undo all that code from all those GridBagPanels, ArrayListModels, TitledConstraints and WhatHaveYouListeners just to see what it was all about: a simple 127x32 bit matrix. Why didn't you simply say so, it would've saved me a busy morning ;-)

    kind regards,

Not accident. Experience of muddling along for ~30 years without the benefit of higher math or CS.

I wrote my first code generator about 20 years ago (created Vax DataTrieve procedure snippets for VaxFMS forms ... don't ask). Since I didn't know till maybe 3 years ago what a code generator might be, I called it a program that wrote a program :) Oh, and that was written in Vax DCL

Yeah math only gets in the way, it tends to make you drink too much beer and tell everyone that you do so.

No, it makes you count the bottles of beer. Not always correctly though

Speaking of Grolsch; it's time to open the fridge and start thinking about some transitive closures over the rows of that 127x32 matrix ...

    kind regards,

    Jos ;-)

Transitive openers on the bottles first, though

No, by accident I used my brand new reflexive opener (while you don't need a bottle opener for those ingenious Grolsch bottles at all).

    kind regards,

Jos (row reflexive operations can avoid cycles if a phone number happens to be on a forward list as well as the recipient list)

I feel a bit of shame. I don't drink at all, yet I managed to yet again steer a thread towards beer.

So the conclusion is trivial: it's all your fault ;-P
