Default Generating a crystal report using java

    Hello everyone,
Once again I am here with a problem.
I am designing and developing an application for a customer.
Now my customer wants that his orders, reciepts, bills, etc. should be saved in JPEG/pdf files. i.e. he wants that the user should enter details and then when the user saves the details to the database automatically a JPEG/pdf file is generated of that data like we do in crystal reports with ASP .NET.
These JPEG/pdf files will be used for mailing and storing electronic copies and printing bills, reciepts. help me please.

P.S. I am using NetBeans IDE
    Thanx in advance

In a recent post you said you were new to Java. Yet you have a paying customer? I feel compelled to ask - is this a real customer or a homework assignment?

    Erik,
Thanx for the solution but can we have some technical solutions here rather than giving me managerial solutions...
And by the way i cannot hire any one else because that would only delay the project development process.
I am done with quiet a lot of the project and hiring a new personnel will only lead to making him understand all the aspects, features, Documentation of the project.
I considered that option but that won't help in many ways, one being already mentioned.
Please, if someone could really give a technical solution on how to do this rather than managerial solutions Respond to the thread.
    Thanx in advance.

Well then there is only one way to fix your problem: research your behind off. I suggest you look into Jasper reports, which can be used for free and is basically a Java counterpart of Crystal reports. You're not going to be able to properly use that overnight and no forum is going to change that; its all you. Good luck.
