    Default Some help needed: 2D Cellular Automata

    Hi there, I am new to swing and would like some help implementing a 2D CA (game of life). I have two 2d arrays that takes care of the iterations and I'm trying to get something similar to this: John Conway's Game of Life

    Does anybody have any ideas as to how I can acheive this? At the moment all the panels, contentpanes and layouts are making me dizzy!

    The author shows the source code. You could go through it and see how it was put together. Maybe you'll get some ideas of how to approach your game design.
