Weird behaviour of grayed JTextField under Windows 7
Hi all,
I got a problem with grayed JTextField.
My applet was launched before under Windows XP : writable fields where white, grayed fields gray ->.gif)
Now I launch my appelt on a Windows 7 : writable fields are white, grayed fields are... white ! Exactly same color ->.gif)
So I can't make the difference betweene writable and not writable fields anymore.
If I change windows theme to "Windows Classic", it's ugly but I get back my grey grayed fields...
Any idea ?.gif)
Thanks in advance !
Mefisto.

Yes, so what's the problem ? I don't know if it is a Java problem, or an OS problem. That's why I post both on a Windows 7 forum and Java forum.

Hy coquine
I think it's a problem of couillouillou.
You must go to the registry and set the GROSSE_COUILLE_ENTRY to the value BALTRINGUE
Best regards

Re: Weird behaviour of grayed JTextField under Windows 7
Cross posting would be a problem if I post my problem on 2 different Java forum. That's not the case, as I explained already I don't know if my problem concerns Java or Windows. So I posted my problem on a Java forum and on a Windows forum.
The link you sent me, from my understanding, deals about posting on forums of the same kind(3 developpement forums for example).
The rules mention about "wasting other members time" : I really feel like loosing my time now, having to discuss about that. So, feel free to say or do whatever's on your mind, from now I will just deal with information about my question. I don't have time for kindergarden fights.
