Stop buttons from resizing based on test size
I have buttons where there is no text in the beginning, but when they are click on, I edit their text.
However, I want the size to always be the same, even when there is no text in them.
How do I do that?

By using an appropriate layout manager. GridLayout and GridBagLayout (with appropriate constraints) come to mind.
To get better help sooner, post a SSCCE (Short, Self Contained, Correct (Compilable), Example) that demonstrates the problem.
