    Default Round button

    Hi I am making a java library called osjal and I have been trying to make a completely circular button. I have searched around the forums and the web a bit but no one has been able to help me. All I know is that I java to not paint the border. But beyonds that I do not have a clue to make it function properly. Please help thanks jsobel.

    And we don't have a clue which GUI library your custom button is based on. AWT? Swing? SWT? JavaFX? Something else we've never heard of?

    Haven't-a-clue questions can't be considered advanced. Moving to New to Java until the appropriate section can be determined.

    Moved from Advanced Java via New to Java.

    To customize the appearance of a JComponent subclass, the cleanest way, in line with the MVC paradigm of Swing, is to write your own UI delegate, possibly extending the relevant class in javax.swing.plaf.basic.

    To get better help sooner, post a SSCCE (Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable) example that demonstrates the problem.
