Problem with Look And Feel
I am just googling for some new Look and Feel Libraries and found jTattoo jar library that provides me with 12 Look and Feels .jar pack to use directly.....
I have two problems associated with it :
1) When i want to set the look and feel by providing full classname to the UIManager.setLookAndFeel(String) :
Items in lookAndFeelComboBox are:
case 1: UIManager.setLookAndFeel("com.jtattoo.plaf.acryl.AcrylLookAndFeel");
case 2: UIManager.setLookAndFeel("com.jtattoo.plaf.aero.AeroLookAndFeel");
// . . .
case 12: UImanager.setLookAndFeel("com.jtattoo.plaf.aluminum.AluminumLookAndFeel");
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "Error: "+e.getMessage(), "Error In Setting Look and Feel", JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE);
This code give me ambigious result as: When i select a L'n'F (say Acryl) it works perfectly, then if i change L'n'F (say this time Aero) it also works perfectly BUT problem occurs when i change back to previous L'n'F, that is Acryl than it shows me an ambiguos result as the resulting look and feel is the mixture of of both Acryl and Aero (here pair of acryl and aero can be any other in given 12)
I had crosscheck all the theme pairs and they shows me same kind of GUI error......Hope i am clear to you..
2) My second question is that, is there any way so that i can set these external Look And Feels as my default look and feels??
Doing this will ease my program by getting all these themes by getInstalledThemes(), plus, it will ad d the 5 default themes that is Metal, Nimbus, CDE/Motif, Wibdows and Windows Classic into my Look and Feel selection choices......
I hope my both problems are clear to you...
