Instead, please read the link that Kevin supplied above, please try to solve this with the information gained from the tutorial, and failing that please post your attempt at solving it here. We welcome your demonstration that you are willing to apply effort in solving this.

But it's urgent! Don't you men understand anything? What if the nuclear powerplant, controlled by the OP's program, overheats because his text area doesn't have a scroll bar? Things might start to become very smelly and it'll be all your fault! So there.

OK, ok, we call it a nuclear power plant but it actually is a turnip cutter and that licence doesn't mention turnips, now does it? Neither does it mention penguins, and they get cut too ... sometimes, the little ones, dead, that is ...

#1) You should know to add components(JLabel,JTextArea,etc.) to a container(JFrame)
#2) You should know to add components to JScollPane
#3) You should not be lazy ^_^
