package javax.swing does not exist

need help
jdk 6.9.1 install on my win xp
my ide is displaying error message
package javax.swing does not exist
when i try to import it
even the ide generated javax code shows same error.

use the JDK 6 Update 23 or you must tell to your ide where the jdk is installed.

Did you try to just import the package only and compile?

my jdk is properlly installed.. no such problem in java application
but in mobile application jave me.. all swing component show the
error message.. do i need to install java me sdk.. how to i configure that on my netbean.. thanks
