    Default JTextfield only allow specific chars

    How can I get a JTextfield to only allow the input of characters "0123456789+-/*. ()^"

    Im hoping there's a nice simple answer that I just don't know or have easily missed.

    use a DocumentFilter for this.

    e.g.,
    Limit number of cols in JTextArea (again)
    SudokuGrid
