how to open a link using java

hi!
i want to write a code which can open a specified internet link ...

in this window when the user enters the link in the TextField and click Go the program should open a IE (or another web browser ) window and load the page of that link ...

but i think you are looking for the Desktop class (since se6) --> http://java.sun.com/developer/techni...6/desktop_api/
