Save form as .pdf file?
So I'm new to programming and I'm making a form with NetBeans using Swing and ultimately I want to know if there is any way to save the form as a .pdf file? It can look like an image. I just need it to print it. After i save the fine, I want go back and use it again? Is this at all possible? What criteria must I meet to do this?
this is an application i'm making that's only supposed to be ran on the desktop. so idk if i need a database for it? any help is appreciated.
Google Java PDF and the first hit looks to be promising.
First of all, please stick with a one question in a single thread. Unless stuff are related, otherwise please start a new thread for the new question in appropriate sub-forum.
Regarding the first question. Is your final requirement to take a printout of the form, save it as an image, or both?
Second question. Database is nothing to do with a desktop application specifically. Its all depends on your requirement and the design.
Fubarable - I'll take a look at it.
Eranga - sorry about the two questions. I'm new here. won't happen again.
My final requirement is to save it as an image and let the person do whatever he wants to do with it. perhaps print it or just have it saved on the computer.
Never mind. Next time please pay your attention.
