action to a node in a jtree
may i know how to add an action to a jtree compnent...dat is when i click on a node it must perform so action................

Read the API for JTree and follow the link to the Swing tutorial on How to Use Trees where you will find a section Responding to Node Selection.
Next time round, do that before posting a question.
