Working with Tabbedpane

If i have say 3 tabs on a pane...When I click the "next" button on the first tab it should take me to the second one..how do I go about doing that???

b) add 1 to it
c) set the selected index

The API will show you the methods that can be called on a JTabbedPane. Using this and camickr's suggestion should get you started. If your code still doesn't work, then why not post a small compilable program here that shows your attempt and let's see what can be done with it. Much luck.
