    Question Handle sound

    Hey there,

A couple of moths ago, I made this Swing app that demonstrates an equalizer.

Here is how it looks :

    Java Code:
    i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg244/varsamakos/screenshot_002-5.png
Now, I want it to be more practical. Ι want it to handle real sound.
I've been searching in forums and the web but I've got none of a specific answer.

I was told to search in Java API to find something. I found this :
    Java Code:
    java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/sound/index.html
I reckon this program is dificult for me, so I wanted to ask you is that's the classes I should read.

If anyone knows that part (handle bass, treble, balance etc via java methods), please inform me.

I couldn't input the links as is so I remove the htttp:// part.

    Cheers !

    Merry Christmas to all,

I hasty read the rules and I thought that cross posting meant to be just for this forum.

I add it here so I could get some help in case that I wouldnt from other forums (in this case, sun.java )

If that's not okay, you may delete my thread.

    Hi varsamakos!

Mmm. I would first get my post count up by helping some guys starting with Java, then post a link to the thread at Sun's forums. Posters can reply in this thread if they do not wish to register at Sun's forums. ;) Most people dislike cross posting, no matter what form it takes. At least a link reduces the chances of frustration.

Good luck with the sound making. Sounds cool. :)
