    Hi all,

    how to set an image to a frame in swing?
    i want a logo.gif image to appear on to my login window.
    hw to do it?

    Any reply would be appreciated..!

    If you're not talking about the icon image but rather the JFrame's background image, then put the image into a JPanel and use that JPanel as your JFrame's contentPane. Google -- background image Java JPanel -- for many decent suggestions on the nuts and bolts.
