Hi there ,

i am trying to change the JFrame color from blue to grey ( Not the background
colour ! :) )

i am not sure how to do it, or if you can do it ...

my basic class is
Java Code:
public class NoteGui extends JFrame implements ActionListener {

	private ActionListener parentListener;
	private String frameTitle = "Note Gui";

	private Border etchedBorder = BorderFactory.createEtchedBorder();
	private Font textFieldFont = new Font("Serif", Font.PLAIN, 22);
	private Font buttonFont = new Font("Serif", Font.PLAIN, 12);

	private Utility u = new Utility();
	private JTextArea ta;

        private ArrayList<JComponent> JComponentList = new                                                      ArrayList<JComponent>();

	public NoteGui(ActionListener actionListener,int x_coord, int y_coord)
	{

		   this.parentListener = actionListener;
		 //set the title to the frame
		   this.setTitle(frameTitle);
		   this.setLocation(x_coord, y_coord);
		   // set the close operation
		   this.setDefaultCloseOperation(DISPOSE_ON_CLOSE);
		   // get the content pane
		   Container contentPane = getContentPane();
		   Dimension fixed = new Dimension(600,500);
		   this.setPreferredSize(fixed);

		   // set the background colour
		   contentPane.setBackground(Color.white);

		   GridBagLayout gbLayout = new GridBagLayout();
		   contentPane.setLayout(gbLayout);

                   etc...
when i want to affect the background colour i'm using the contentpane..
but if i want to affect the actual frame colour from blue to grey....

it would be a call to this.somthing()

..... but not sure what ??

defaultlookandFeel ?

thanks
